Heat Resistant Balloon
Question
Can an Inflated balloon resist heat?
Hypothesis
I think that the balloon will burst because of the cold water in the balloon boils up and pops the balloon
Equipment
1.Candle 2.Lighter 3.Water 4.Balloon
Method
1. Light the candle
2. Put a little bit of water in the balloon
3. Then blow up the balloon
4. After that put the balloon over the candle and see if it pops
Observation
The balloon resisted the heat becausef the water was blocking the way for the heat to get in.
Result
The balloon stayed inflated and didn't burst
Explanation
The cold water in the balloon blocked the heat from the candle to get into the balloon and to pop it .
